Stripperoke night

So, last time I went to Devils Point (a mid-week, midday), there was only one dancer visible, who was sweet and then tried to choke me with her panties. Back then, the bartender also mentioned that Sunday was their busy night there, due to Stripperoke. I figured I ought to go ahead and check it out, what the hell.

Went there on a Sunday night, friendly bouncer out front checking IDs and giving a little speech - no touching the dancers, tip a dollar if you're able to get anywhere near the stage, ask for private dances, no photos, please don't be an asshole. $2 cover, $3 coke inside.

The place is fairly small, with a little entry room with the bar, some video poker, etc, and then the stage room area with a few little tables and some chairs against the wall. I think private dances happen back in the corner of that room behind a curtain, but I couldn't move to see that BECAUSE HOLY SHIT THERE WERE SOMETHING LIKE 200 PEOPLE THERE IN THE SMALL PLACE. So anyway, it was crowded. The place would comfortably hold 40-60 people probably and feel crowded. As it was, after getting a drink, you basically just wade in and get pinched shoulder-to-shoulder-to-back-to-chest with everyone else, and as people leave now and then, the crowd just surges a little to fill the gaps. The crowd was probably 50/50 male/female, mostly in the realm of 30 year olds probably. This is kind of a cool place for hipsters to hang out basically.
