Had a quick one day layover in San Diego, decided to make the most of it with a visit to Honk Kong and decided to try buying VIP and getting a room (80% discount M and T)

$10 to park at the closest parking lot at the old border. Quick walk across, no form to fill out (seems like it is about 50% to fill out the form). Border crossing the same as before but there is now a turnstile at the bottom of the Mexico side too, not sure what it accomplishes.

Quick $5 taxi ride and I am at Hong Kong. I confirmed the VIP would get me a $12 room for the night, and purchased. Went upstairs in the hotel to get a room. Took a little while to check in, $12 plus $30 deposit for mini bar. Room was similar to room used by the ladies, nothing special. Definitely worth it though as the girls are much less rushed.
