Waste of $10 Plus Tips

Granted, it was on a Tuesday afternoon about 5:00, but past afternoons I have found at least some entertainment. It only takes one. And it used to be my go-to club when 30-minute private dances were $100. The dances have been raised to 30m/$150, which is still reasonable, but the talent has to be there. Parking is free and reasonably secure. No pat down or ID scan. Cover is usually $20. I had a coupon that made it $10. Used to be all the fountain drinks were free. (Typically, I tip $1 for each one, so “free” is relative.) Now they say that one fountain drink is included with the cover, so I am not sure what they might be charging.

When I came in, there were two other PLs. Neither was sitting at the rail. One had a dancer sitting with him. I sat at the rail. Four dancers were listed on the board. The three that I saw were White.

I sat at the rail. Drew was listed as the dancer that was supposed to be on stage for her second song. She was standing nearby wearing a heavy coat. When I sat at the stage, she took off the coat and spent the last 20 seconds of her time lapping the pole, removing nothing. Picked up my stage tip and walked off without comment. I have known Drew since she worked at GCC and know her to be moody. However, this is the first time she has treated me with complete indifference. Indeed, she was the one that gave me the coupon that got my $10 discount on the cover. No matter. A few months ago I asked Drew for 30 minutes. She said, “I don’t do 30 minutes. It just isn’t worth it, but I will do it for you.” I told her she knows from past experience at GCC that I tip well and will make it worth her while, but it didn’t do much for her performance. Chatted with her a few times since, but I haven’t asked her for dance because I just wasn’t feeling any improvement in attitude from her. Now she always seems to be moody.
