Not my best night, but I'll be back.

Been to Follies a number of times -- can't say I'm a regular but if you totaled up the number of times over the years it would probably get kind of freaky. Anyway, no surprises, it's always a pretty solid time. What's often different is whether I click with anyone and how good a time I have. This time wasn't one of my best. Maybe it was that no one in the line up really sent my parts into overdrive -- a mix of body types and ethnicities, but I like 'em more on the small side and wasn't seeing the young ink-free co-ed I still fantasize about. A couple girls that came close to my threshold felt kind of business-like, and they moved on without looking back when I told them "Maybe later". But the dances are cheap, the atmosphere good enough, and I kind of fed off the vibe of another couple of guys who were clearly having a great time, it feels like a party sometimes when other people are having a good time, and we were nodding to each other and even high fiving. Anyway, did a few dances with a couple of the girls, nothing off the charts, or even particularly memorable. And after about 90 minutes I headed out, not feeling like I'd had a spectacular evening and wondering whether the smoke would ever come out of my clothes. Never crossed my mind to do a VIP, but when a night doesn't go BANG I know to save my dollars for another go-round. It's not like I won't be back.
