Showcase on Ice

Was in town for the holidays and decided to make a trip to Showcase. First thing I noticed were several utility trucks parked in front of the club. The club seemed open so parked in a side lot that had some big tire eating potholes. Paid 20 for cover since it was a weeknight and was buzzed in and through security.

First thing I noticed was most girls were covered up and a few were wearing hoodies or even jackets and robes The first girl on stage appeared to be shivering and malnourished. I tipped a few dollars but that didn’t seem to help the situation. One dancer later told me that the heat was out and would hopefully be repaired soon

Dances were 20/30 but noticed most of the girls were staying bundled up for the dances with less contact than usual. Water or Red Bull were both 5 each at the bar. DJ was playing songs of 3-4 minutes. New girl Naomi had a bit more energy despite the cold.

Overall a unique visit would try coming back on a night when heat was working.
