Duluth in December
Staying in Canal Park in between blizzards just after Thanksgiving. Rolled in around 9 there is a small entry area and then another door to get into the club. My guess is to keep the cold out as it was -10 that night. $5 cover as you walk in club is fairly large club the bar is to the left and the small single stage is toward the back of the club. No seats at the stage but table where very close to it, the stage was surround by fence like wrought iron which limited how close one could get to stage. I also think it kept the dancers on the stage. Overall North Woods feel to the place lots of old burlesque pictures on the wall mixed in with neon beer signs. The bar had all of the bottle built into a pyramid with some strange pink lighting the beer was cold (go figure) and I think it was like $4-$5
I grabbed a seat a the bar close to the stage tipped every dancer a few buck once they dropped their bottoms. I was the only guy in the bar with a collared shirt without cameo. I was not approached by any dancer but they where all nice when tipped at the stage
Music was from a jukebox each dancer selected their tunes no DJ. About 6-8 girls working all natural most skinny and some level of tats which is pretty much the norm these days. Each dancer did 3 song with various level of undress all went nude on stage. The one strange thing about this club is when people stopped tipping the dancers would leave the stage for a few minutes and then come back to see if they could garner more attention and tips. Private dances where $25 done is curtained off room. I overheard the dances where topless only with no touching. As stated before never approached for a dance. It took about an hour to see the rotation which was about 2 beers. Overall I spent $40 for cover beer and tips.
