If a strip bar was a sitcom

If it was closed, it's been reopened. It looks as though it was recently remodeled so maybe they just opened.

I had just come from Lady Vi's and looking forward to see what this place was about. Walked into a pretty well lit club with an attendent at the door. Super cute gal. She said "Hi" and just looked at me. I asked if there was a cover and her one word reply was "Yup". Literally, after about 10 seconds I asked her if she knew how much that is. She confirmed it was $5 so I gave it to her and as I was about to step thru the metal detector, she asked to see my DL. I'm almost 60 but what the hell, here you go and handed it to her. She swipes it thru a terminal and I ask what that's about. She says it's verifying that I'm old enough. Whatever...As I step thru the metal detector, it goes off so I'm getting the key fob out of my pocket to show her she said "Dont worry about it, it does that with everyone" lol, so I moved on.

Walked up to the bar and after waiting about 2 minutes, a dude a couple seats away said I have to wave my hand or shout for service. The music was thumping away but no dancer on stage and it was loud. There were 5 gals that I saw and maybe 8 dudes and a few of them might have been staff. One tall blonde had some sort of tablet and talking to a big dude that was dressed like he always wanted to be a strip club bouncer so....
