Beautiful ... But Pricey

Cloak Room (CR) is a really upscale club right in the heart of DC - within 5 min walk of Convention Center so very accessible for visitors. Neighborhood is 'totally' safe. Entrance, at least at night, has a door man checking ID's - velvet rope type entrance. You can't sneak in here if you're worried about your colleagues noticing your evening activities.

Multi-level club. Entrance is on street level but you go up one floor to get to the cashier / coat check. $20 to get in (free before 6 or 7 not sure which). I know $20 isn't free but give me a break - it's a club and there's cover. The bar area is immediately to your left with probably 20 seats or so. That's one downside is the lack of 'non-reserved aka bottle service' seating. All the seats were filled when I got there about 10 so I grabbed a drink ($10 beer - yes drinks are steep here as others have said) and stood in the second row behind the bar seats ... actually not a bad place to be as you can lean against the wall and the ladies have to pass through so you can get some attention. I did soon grab a bar seat when a guy left to grab dances. The opposite side of the bar is open to the stage where you can tip the girls but no seating over there.

The talent on this night was top notch - solid 8-9 across the board. Two girls on stage - three song set. I chatted with several dancers and ironically what impressed me the most was how intelligent they all were. This is DC - and all the girls I met were in college or grad school and were very articulate about world affairs -- or else they were oscar-winning actresses -- either way I was impressed.

I was feeling particularly generous this night - and so I indulged in a 30 min private room with a dancer I had found very engaging. Yes - she seduced me with her mind. My eyes had already given two thumbs up to the body so it didn't take too much convincing. This is where CR differentiates itself from other DC clubs. And to have the luxury of solid two-way contact you need to pay a stupid price -- $500 / 30 min. There's no possible way I can do a logical justification for that - nor is it something I would typically do but I was in the mood so yada yada yada... (oh, and yes there are more expensive suites which I passed on - LOL)

The private rooms are decent - about 3' wide comfortable bench seat with a platform on the opposite side that dancers can use for some fancy moves and a mirror opposite the seat so you can get a full front and rear view which is a nice touch. Fully drawn curtain closes off the space - of course cameras are present so nothing beyond the normal boundaries here. Solid - very solid two-way topless contact (well, she was topless though my shirt did get unbuttoned over the course of our visit) ... lots of hand action for both of us. My girl liked her ass spanked and nipples squeezed -- YMMV of course but seemed pretty liberal without crossing legal boundaries.
