Daytime fun ... but took two tries

Hadn't been to Rick's in a long time (more than 5 years -- maybe a lot more), but with Choice having closed I was looking for an afternoon stop (not a big fan of DTC, and things are awfully slow at DJV). Saw good reviews, so I gave it a try around 1:30 pm.

First things first -- no door girl or required coat check (which was required last time). Bar was friendly and inexpensive. About 7-8 dancers total, of whom 4 or 5 looked interesting. Got a few chair dances on the floor, and took one of the better ones up on a dance in the "fireplace" room. Tall, brunette, slim, and lots of fun -- but the fireplace dance was almost all "off lap" with lots of standing over, good views, etc. Frankly, not a bad experience (hot to look at, continued teasing), but not what I was looking for.

Found a different dancer (blonde) and after a floor dance decided to take a chance on a fireplace dance with her -- she didn't disappoint -- full straddle, hands on when needed, and happy to cuddle when I'd had all I could handle ;-). At least two (maybe three) others I'd like to try some time, so I'll probably be back.
