Sands is not a club from my normal rotation of Puget Sound Region clubs. I only go to Sands to see a particular dancer whom I have some knowledge of beforeheand. I went to Sands specifically to meet a new TUSCL dancer member who was there that night. We messaged several times before, and decided to meet on Saturday night, December 7th.. (That's the second time this exact same occurrence has happened--meeting a TUSCL dancer member at Sands.)

Sands has no cover, so just a $10 charge which includes two sodas is all at that's paid, and that's once you're seated. Lap dances are $40., but as I've mentioned many times before, Sands' doesn't use a d.j. Dancers choose their music from a juke box and full length songs are played. Hence, one song at Sands is probably the equivalent of two at the other clubs. I was in the club between 10:45 and 11:45 p.m.  About five dancers were on shift. Three of the other four dancers also came over to me to interest me in dances, but I stuck with just the one dancer I came in specifically to see. There are also two semiprivate  rooms which are sold by blocks of time. I didn't get the prices of those.

Sand's has a communal-type room for its lap dances. It's a nicely appointed red velvet upholstered large U-shaped bench seat that wraps around the room. The down side of that is that there's no privacy. If there's more than one dancer/customer in the room, the dancers' practice is to choose a seat as far away from the other dancer as possible. It's an o.k. arrangement, but I prefer the individual booths that nearly all of the other clubs in the region have.
