Saturday night after Thanksgiving, nothing else to do

I came back to the Playhouse for the first time in nearly 2 years. I used to go there all the time when I lived in the Omaha area, but moved away and it's just too far to just go there. I was in town for Thanksgiving, but I can't spend the whole time with my parents, or my friends who don't go to strip clubs, so I came out here Saturday night. There wasn't a whole lot going on and not too many people were there.

They did some renovations since the last time I was there. Now it's just one long stage, whereas before, they had that one point in the middle of the building where you had 2 stages off center from the rest of the stages. Now they have 7 poles instead of 9. It looks like they redid the walls and they definitely got new chairs, which are more comfortable than the old ones. They also have a new sign hanging outside on the pole outside, but how you can see it from the interstate, I don't know.

Anyway, one thing that was interesting was I went during the Iowa State football game, so I could have had free beer from a keg during the game. Of course, I don't drink, so I didn't do that. I assume they do that during Iowa and Nebraska games as well. At least I would hope they do it during Nebraska games, since most of the people who go there are from Omaha. Considering how much they suck in recent years, that would probably be the only way to make them watchable.
