I want to like this place, but...

When I went to go to Brandi's on a Friday night and saw a long-ass line at the door, decided to walk a few blocks and give Penthouse a try. I'd had an ok experience there on a previous visit, figured I might as well.

$10 entry, $3 coke (I think? maybe $4). It's got a weird setup with a small number of chairs around a little runway, then just kind of a diner setup with a bunch of tables set away, packed in really tight.

I started at the tables (stage was full) during a lull. They do the Vancouver thing of having a dancer up for 3-4 songs, then a "break" for 3-4 songs. That break is frickin long when you're just sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with other random dudes. Anyway...
