Seedy? Divey? I dig this place!

After leaving The Church (https://tuscl.net/review.php?id=365135 ) I went back to my hotel and changed my jeans into shorts. I grabbed a six pack I’d bought earlier from the fridge. Bucks Wild was across the street from my hotel and I headed over around midnight. It’s in a strip shopping center but is a separate building from the shops, which were all closed. Gotta love the lack of zoning in Houston. Plenty of parking and I parked myself. The attendant griped about where I parked so I moved the car and paid the parking fee, which I think was less than $10 but details are a bit fuzzy.

I went inside and paid the $20 cover and passed through the metal detector. I’m pretty sure they scanned my ID. The interior reminded me of the Bucks Wild in Dallas, but a bit smaller. One big stage with multiple poles and two satellite stages. A long bar inside and a good amount of tables around the stages.

I found a table with a nice view and a waitress came over to attend. I got a small bucket of ice which was overfull, but I jammed 4 of my beers in there and watched the show. The music in here was pumping compared to St. James. Rap and dance. No country here. I believe there was also a pretty aggressive use of a smoke machine but everyone seemed to be having a good time.
