Nice Way to Enjoy a Sunday Evening

Eight o’clock on a Sunday night isn’t prime time for clubbing but that’s when I found myself back in the SC capitol of FL (if not the galaxy) so I decided to give ol’ reliable a try. Some seem to feel the area is a bit questionable but I never have and for some reason it felt even less sketchy this night than it had the last time I’d been there a couple of years earlier.

For the detail oriented, I counted a dozen or so cars in the parking lot and it was some twenty-odd paces from my parking spot to the front door. Cover was $10 but on my phone I had the $5-off coupon from the club’s website which offset the $5 mandatory first soft drink. (No alcohol, as it’s a nude club.) A $1 tip to the door girl and another to the barmaid and I was settling into a low-slung chair at a table a few feet from perverts’ row.

When you enter from the lobby, you’re at the far-right end of the club. Straight ahead is the men’s room and to your left is a rectangular stage with seating all around. The bar is at the far left end. The long sides of the club are lined with chairs and each side has two doorways leading to private dance areas. On the entrance-side of the club are a few tables as well as a couple of slightly raised platforms with booths or tables that seem to imply a more upscale, bottle-service kind of experience, but I’ve never seen anyone in those areas.
