Tuesday visit

I went here a couple of years ago for the first time and enjoyed it...until I noticed that there were cameras in the VIP rooms. That really bugged me--the dancer I was with then said that they did it in order to count dances, but almost every other club manages to do this just fine without playing Big Brother.

And yet, for some reason, I was bored and wanted to try this place again--figuring that I'd keep my expectations low and stay out of the VIP rooms. It delivered, but maybe only because of the lower expectations. For starters, it might have the most diverse range of dancers in the area (most other places tend to have a certain ethnicity, or body-type). And there's definitely a vibe here where almost everyone who goes there knows each other. The last time I was here this vibe was a little off-putting, but this time the dancers were really welcoming, in part because they like getting new customers as much as the reliable folks who they see all the time.

With the VIP rooms off limits for me, the best place is right by the main stage. It's pretty small, but if you're the only person in front of the stage, if the dancer's your type, and if you have a lot of bills, it's pretty great. I built my plans around that this time, and it definitely delivered. It's basically as good as the VIP--except instead of a camera watching you, anyone who wants to watch you is able to (which weirdly was less creepy, because of the laid back vibe nobody was looking around). I might go back on a Friday or Saturday sometime.
