Big club, big cost
To start, I'm not big on the huge, Vegas-style clubs. I'm more of a neighborhood bar-style club person, but I gotta take advantage of a full-nude club when the opportunity presents itself. I could see parking being tough around here, if you're used to Chicago though there's some easy options for public transportation as there are buses and an L nearby. I actually took the Metra and then hopped on a bus. Of course, public transit options are even more appealing if you're looking to drink a lot, which you can't do at this club. I was worried that the area would be a little sketchy but it actually felt totally safe. I even stopped into a nearby starbucks to use the bathroom before going into the club, and that made it seem like the area is actually pretty nice.
I got there pretty early, like 830-900ish. Cover is $28, which is a tough pill to swallow. Like I said, I don't tend to seek out big fancy clubs. This place is definitely geared towards the high rollers. The place was still mostly empty so I got a seat near the stage. Eventually a bombshell hot waitress came by to take my order for an overpriced soda. The place is technically a full nude club, but I will say that on stage only about 30-40% of dancers actually got fully nude while another 20% maybe pulled their bottoms down a little for brief flashes. Let's just say, it's very minor full nudity. I would hope that they are a little more open in VIP dances.
I do have to state my biggest complaint with the club, and that is the lighting. Again, I'm not into a nightclub feel, so the intense amount of strobe lighting was just frustrating. I go to actually see the dancer, but you're not getting that great of a view when the lighting is so wild with varying colors and strobe lighting. At one point, I moved to a slightly closer table but immediately had to move back because one of the circling/rotating lights kept shining directly in my face.
