Locals vibe but still a good time

This is the first time I felt I was in a club that was a “locals” club or I hit it on a night when that was the vibe. I was there Saturday night, around 10pm. The club is way north in Houston and the club has a walled off design so if you drove there I would expect your cars to be pretty safe. Cover was $12(?) and you had to walk through a metal detector. Once you got in, you see what looks like a small club. The main stage is right in front of you. To your left/right are stairwells (more on that later) and to the left and right of the main floor seating are two more satellite stages. Further to the left is a bar and some more seating, and same to the right, along with the restrooms. Over the state is the famed shower room. There’s a whole another floor to this club which wasn’t open Saturday night.

When you entered, you are asked if you have a favorite waitress, which was strange but that was my first clue this club has regulars. And sure enough, I saw groups chatting with waitresses regularly, with dancers sitting with them for long periods of time, and just hanging. I saw the most couples I’ve ever seen in a club, at least 5 and again, they all seemed like they knew the staff. My waitress seemed to have forgotten about me for 30 min but finally got drinks served. Again, since the staff was covering tables all over the place not the most efficient way to remember which tables are yours unless you knew the patrons.

Dancers were I would say between 6-8, and the dancer schedule was 2 songs on main stage and then usually one song without anyone on the main stage. And I don’t recall the same dancer at ALL on the main stage my entire time there. In retrospect, I think some were busy for LONG periods of time in the lap dance rooms. From those on the floor, there was a portion at tables with regulars for an hour+ and a handful by the bar on their phones. I would say there were more black, Latina, and asian dancers than anything else.
