Not that Sensational

I visited Sensations on a Tuesday evening. They open at 6PM. I got there at 7PM and expected that there would already be some life in the building. There was not. I was only the second patron. There was only one dancer there talking with the other patron at the stage, which is sort of an offset shape in the middle of a room that seemed to be crowded with way too much furniture. Of particular note is the overall building setup with stage on one side of the building and bar on the other, it's a little bit like two venues in one- go left for the stage, go right for the bar and pool table.

Anyway, I saw dancers filter in over the next hour and eventually got to speak with all but one of them. The first dancer to chat me up was Alasia, an AA whose breath reeked of cigarette smoke. She took smoke breaks between her stage sets. I'm not attracted to WOC or smokers (at least don't reek of it in my face), so she was a no. She did dance with pretty good gusto, though.

Another girl came up to me and said her name was Lisa and it was her first day. She had a goth look- black outfit, black hair, black eye shadow. She was drinking heavily and she seemed more than a little bit high as well- fidgety and uncoordinated. Also a no.
