TT undergoes facelift

It was a surprise the moment I entered. Something was different. It has been a while since I last visited this place but didn't remember the counter by the door being this high. And the wall behind him seemed to be missing as well. As I showed my ID, paid the $10 head and walked in, I realize that the club has undergone some major redesign. They biggest change is that there used to be a 2nd stage to the left of the entrance behind the bar where there had curtained VIP rooms. That stage is gone. Now the entire area is what I'll call 'VIP alley'. They have built new VIP rooms on both sides in that section. Some are curtained while some have doors. These curtain and door rooms are bigger and better lit with nice sofas and small tables in them. VIP rooms to the right of the main entrance have been torn down and replaced with high back seating much like the VIP seating behind the rope by the wall. I dont remember if some of the VIP rooms had translucent glass on the door but now they do. Seems like the remodeling is still on-going.

As far as the crowd goes, it was a Saturday. I went in early evening. There were hardly any dancers on the floor which was expected between afternoon and evening shifts. Watched dances on the main stage and tipped. Nobody approached me and I didn't expect much either. As the night went on, it was obvious that this is going to be a typical weekend night at a popular SC where the crowd will mostly be interested in drinking, chatting up dancers, and occasional floor dances and nothing else. Patrons were energetic as is with a weekend night and were tipping generously. The dancers weren't interested in approaching loners and were only going for groups or business-types. Some hung around with regulars who bought them drinks. I didn't partake in a VIP session and just chilled, finished my drink and left around 11p when the party was at its peak and there was standing-room only.

I'd be interested in knowing if anybody has experienced the new VIP rooms. Which ones offer the most privacy and least disturbance? Have the rates changed?
