Dissapointing early evening at Landing Strip

Stopped here on way up north to do some hunting. This was late afternoon/early evening, and my suggestion for others is that this is not the time to stop in. Had a weird vibe from the time I peeked in the door and stepped inside. Maybe it was more about the fact they really weren't ready to be open. There were a few gals sitting in a table/bench area straight ahead from the door. Off to the left was a bar area and fairly large stage with couple poles.

I took a seat at the bar and got a beer, hung out for a while pondering my disappointment in the establishment.

I left after a drink and only 10-15 minutes. As I was leaving a few of the girls, still seated together, threw a few words my way trying to get me to stay around a longer and offering if there is anything they can do for me. By that time I was in the 'don't bother' mode, and headed up toward Wausau to make a stop at Granddaddy's.
