Feature night

I was driving through on the way home from a work trip and decided to pull off the highway to make a pitstop in Montello. I arrived around 7 and was surprised to see so many girls sort of milling about frantically. Turns out they were hosting a feature showcase of some kind. I’d never seen anything like that before, so I stuck around. Unlike a usual night, each of the girls on the show had a unique theme, costumes, the whole nine yards. I wouldn’t have wanted to see this all the time, but it was kind of fun. And the girls really seemed to be getting into the creativity. A cute girl with pink hair and piercings did an Insane Clown set that was a hoot. The sets were way more fun than hot, but it was an interesting change of pace. I asked the bartender how often they do this and she said a couple times a year. I did spend a lot of time leaving tips at the stage for the dancers but didn’t do any dances although they still are $25 and were very clearly no touching according to a couple guys I chatted with. The place is still a big townie bar with a big barroom, stage room in the middle and game room where they somehow allow smoking in this nonsmoking state. The smoke does get into the rest of the place, so be aware of that if that’s a problem. I’ll stop back through another time for a more normal night but I had a good time with friendly folks.
