Dive Joint - Bad part of town - all black - poor service.

I Was visiting the Houston area and looking for something to do on a Sunday night. I was car-less so I had limited travel. I looked online at the reviews and this had the highest review in my general area so I decided to go check it out. I arrived via Uber and was let in. The woman at the counter told me admission was $10 and that she needed $10 for herself. I balked at that and let her have a $5 tip. I was then let in. There were no dancers dancing and one woman over in the corner sitting with a guy but not dancing. I looked around a little bit. The place was quite a dive and several of the chairs / tables were dilapidated or broken. I chose to sit near the center stage despite the fact there was nobody dancing. A dancer came out shortly after and began dancing as well as a few others wandered out knowing that there was a possible paying client (despite a handful of other guys in the club). The one on stage was quite hot and interactive so I made sure she was tipped while on stage. She came and offered me a private dance after her set but I declined. Another dancer came on stage and wasn't attractive at all. The one that left the stage made her rounds and did several lap dancers for some of the other clientele that originally appeared disinterested.

I took this time to wander around and determine where I could get a drink. As it's full nude, apparently alcohol isn't sold. I was able to find a gentleman to get a coca cola from the small bar. I sat back down and drank my coke. I've been to other clubs in Detroit and Baltimore that were primarily ethnic and I never have a problem being there but I felt that the clientele in this establishment felt uncomfortable with my presence as the only white guy. I decided to cut bait and find another club. I called an Uber and stepped out. I will not go back to this club on my next visit to the area as there are much better options in the area.

Overall, I felt the service was poor - even the staff was disinterested in being there. I had a hard time getting service at the small bar. There were a handful of dancers that did show up and very few appeared attractive.
