No luck for first time at Colorados

Arrived at 10:30 on Tuesday two weeks back. Even though my hotel was just up the street, the walk was terrible; blocked sidewalks and muddy medians. Hate pedestrian un-friendly cities.

Cover charge was $11 dollars and you walk through a just-for-show metal detector. The hostesses were friendly and not upset that I just wanted to sit at a bar rather than a table. Was disappointed to see how quiet the room was. Maybe 7 visible dancers and 10ish patrons. There were probably 10 total dancers rotating through over the course of the night. They were all 6 and 7s, half white girls and half latinas.

I watched the stage shows from the bar for about 20 minutes. They mirrored the low energy of the room. One dancer just sat on the second stage in a robe kinda swaying for her two songs. A few gave me the come-tip-me look, so I went over to throw a couple dollars their way. Ordered a well drink for $7.50 and debated heading out early, when I was approached by a dancer who gave me the name of a Greek goddess. She was skinny and my type so I figured I’d go for a dance. Just as we were about to head to the other room, she got called to the stage. Don’t most DJs keep an eye out for dancers who are heading towards a lap dance?
