Friday Day Shift at Gold Club

Friday before Labor Day weekend, didn't feel like working so I checked out the day shift at two Baltimore locations, Gold Club and Millstream. I've never been to either at day shift before, was pleasantly surprised.

Gold Club is in an awkward location in a light industrial area of Baltimore. Awkward due to the divided highway, it's best to approach it from the back or cut through the Royal Farms. I've been to the club before but never for the day shift. If anything, the location was busier in the day due to Chaps Pit Beef, an excellent spot to get a sandwich, is located in the parking lot. Parked the car (ample free parking), got lunch at Chaps, and then walked into the Gold Club.

Walked in and passed through a metal detector. No cover during the day, but there were three bouncers/managers at the entrance and asked for ID. No way am I doing that, I said it was in the car and they waved me through, I left a tip. Club was dimly lit, which I also appreciated. Customers were mixed, blue collar, white collar, and retired. Guys had hats on and cell phones, so pretty chill and comfortable environment. Zero thug factor.
