Bad timing...meh

Last month I visited Centerfolds, in Worcester and didn’t really find anything to my liking so this time I crept over to Mario’s. I went on a Saturday late afternoon/ early evening. The place was practically abandoned with only 4 dancers. The dancers were outnumbered by the wait staff it seemed. Time was between 5-6pm so I guess I can see why as the night crew probably wasn’t there yet.

Mario’s is one of the cleaner joints you’ll find in MA. There was no cover at this time of day. You walk in and to your right you have the bar and to the left the U-shaped elevated dance floor. Beyond the dance floor are the couches and tables you can sit at and get approached by dancers looking for you to purchase lap dances for VIP experiences. The atmosphere of the place was good. Light are dim enough to not feel like you are sticking out like a sore thumb yet bright enough so that you can enjoy seeing the dancers. I rather hate it when clubs are too dark.

Honestly didn’t stay that long as there weren’t too many dancers working so I had my beer and moved on. Dancers were a decent mix for having just 4 with a skinny brunette, a blonde, a black girl and a Hispanic chica. All were nice and had decent stage routines as I tipped a bit at the stage. But when I tried to move back to the couch area and perhaps get a few dances was only approached by the Hispanic girl who just wasn’t my type. The other girls were either on stage or just sitting or chatting with what looked like regulars and paid no attention to any of the other guys in the place for the duration of my visit.
