Saturday Night Was (just) Alright.

I rarely go to strip clubs on weekend nights. But I got back to Phoenix earlier than expected and decided to make the short trip to Tempe and sample what Christie's had to offer on a Saturday night. When I got there the parking lot was not quite 75 percent full and I had no problem finding a spot up front. Walked in and paid the cover which I believe was $12 dollars. I thought I'd sit at the bar so that I could get a good look at things. But few seats were taken by two or three customers and the rest were dancers sitting there. So instead, I grabbed a table near the main stage.

The club was featuring two dancers on stage simultaneously for each set. At first I thought there must be a ton of dancers working. But in reality it just seemed that way because they only had that one stage going. As for dancer quality only three or four girls stood out to me. As typical these days, about half were overweight. But none that I'd call obese. One dancer was a thin, toned, raven haired hottie with like zero body fat. She commanded the most attention. I never saw her go back to VIP. All her dances were on the floor and I'm assuming were the standard $10 fare.

There was also a tall, thin, youthful and energetic blonde who seemed like one of those rare creatures not yet jaded by the business. She too was mostly tied up with customers. There was also at one more very attractive dancer who could really work the pole. I saw her give great lap dances at the table. I however was approached by the bigger girls once or twice. In total there were no more than twenty dancers working that night. Pretty disappointing for a club of that size and branding.
