Nice club but could be so much more
Tattletale was the second club I visited during my trip to Atlanta. I also ended up going there twice (Saturday/Tuesday) and got to experience both the weekend and weekday vibe. In general, this was a club I wanted to like, but the issues with girls sticking to their regulars that’s been brought up before really put a damper on the enjoyment level.
The club is about a 10-15 minute cab ride from the downtown area, and it’s located right off the highway. I couldn’t tell you what the surrounding neighborhood is like since it was pretty dark by the time I got there both nights (~9PM), but it didn’t seem too unsafe although I probably wouldn’t go wandering off for a walk late at night. The club itself isn’t much to speak of, and it kind of resembled a hunting lodge from the outside. I guess Tattletale refers to itself a neighborhood bar with strippers and this is a pretty accurate description of both the establishment and the vibe. The interior is pretty basic with the main “stage” being a pretty small raised platform with a pole surrounded by some standard chairs/tables. There’s a second dance area on the other side of the bar that was only in use on the Saturday, and it seemed like a place to get more private dances, although I don’t know if the dances cost more over there as I didn’t get any in that area. You can smoke inside, which a lot of customers and dancers did and which I dislike, so expect to come out of club smelling like an ashtray. The other thing to note is that because the club has a smaller interior it can be pretty difficult to hear anything or have much of a conversation since the speakers are hung pretty low and they blast the music really loud (seemed like mostly rock).
Anyway, in terms of the girls, there were probably around 25-30 on the Saturday I went and maybe 15-20 on the Tuesday. Ethnic breakdown was probably 60% white and the rest Latina/Cuban, and I don’t recall seeing any AA/Asians either of the nights I went. Girls were generally pretty, mostly in the 7 range, although they tended more towards the girl next door look and were not quite the quality that dance at The Cheetah. There was also more of the tattooed-variety at Tattletale. Of the ones I chatted with, several mentioned that they were students at the local colleges and most seemed to be in their early- to mid-20’s by the way they acted. The first night, I ended up getting $50 worth of dances from a younger Cuban girl (B---) in the main dance area. Her dances were nice and she allowed a decent amount of touching. She brought up going back to the VIP area but I wasn’t feeling it and no one else seemed to be going for these private dances so I figured it wasn’t worth it at this club. She didn’t push it further after I showed no interest in a VIP session, and we ended up chatting for a while and getting a few drinks before she went on her way.
