My wife and I are on a quest to visit a strip club in all 50 states. On a recent trip we were able to check two more states off on our list. While searching tuscl for options near our planned route, we discovered a club called the Peppermint Hippo in Neenah, WI. Since a local radio personality does a parody of a club in our area, by referring to it as the Peppermint Hippo, this was a must see for us.

Upon entering, we were welcomed into the club by a host (possibly the owner). He explained that they had recently changed the name to Peppermint Hippo. He asked where we’d like to sit, then escorted us to our seats. Then a delightful bartender came and took our drink orders. I tipped her well and she took great care of us our entire visit. The club had adequate lighting, comfortable seats and a spacious private dance area in the back. We were there on a Monday night. I recall 6 or 8 dancers and about twice that number in customers.

The surprise for us, since we’d understood it was a bikini bar, was that the dancers on stage were topless, with the exception of one wearing pasties. The dancers were good looking, comfortable performing for a couple and made us feel welcome.

I had a three song private dance with Mia. As I recall, dances were $25 per song, or three songs for $60. Mia is beautiful, but her policy (not sure about club policy) is no touching by the customer. She provided a nice dance, complete with adequate grinding, but I’m used to more of a “hands on” experience.

If we’re ever back in the area, I’d sure stop again.
