Was in town for two nights, a Monday and Tuesday, and this review will cover both of them. Monday night arrived around 10 PM and Tuesday night near midnight (and after having just left Sugar 44 down the street).
Monday was the much slower of the two. Maybe 10 dancers working. These were my 3rd and 4th visits and the only two dancers whose names are I know are Jasmin and Sammy. Both were working both nights. Despite the rain earlier, Tuesday night was much busier with perhaps 12-15 dancers on rotation and slightly more customers. Dancers mostly in the 5-7 range with many fitting the "girl next door" image although I'm sure many frequent customers might disagree with me. Tuesday was also unique in that there were a number of women in the club. There was a pair that seemed like they might have been dancers there on an off night and a couple were women with a small number of guys. E.g. a guy, his buddy, and his girl.
I gave BSC a review about a month or two ago and there were a couple of things that stood out differently from my earlier visit. One was that neither night was I offered popcorn. Not that I come for the popcorn or anything but I thought it was always a nice free touch and I was surprised to see that it was not offered either night. The second was that Jen, who I think is like the "house mom," didn't stop by either night either. From my earlier review the fact that she made a point to stop by and see how things were going, could she bring over anybody, what was I looking for, etc. was a nice personal touch. I doubt she'd remember me from the earlier visit so seemed odd that two nights were very similar and make me think the earlier visit I reviewed may have been a fluke.
My biggest complaint about the club, other than how dark it is, is the fact that they will call a dancer up even if you are getting an LD to come on stage. That happened on Monday night with Sammy. She had to stop, go on stage, and then we tried to continue from where we'd left off but it was like two songs/8-9 mins later. Might as well be starting from scratch at that point if you know what I mean.
If that weren't bad enough, Tuesday night I had an even more frustrating experience. Again, I was getting some dances with Sammy and apparently some guy scheduled her for a private 30 minute session. What I learned was that apparently these run in the $500 range and you coordinate these with Jen. Sammy was upset because she didn't want to dance with some guy she'd never even spoke to and for whom there might not be an understanding of what will/won't happen with her in there. So, they had some exchanges during our set, which included stopping, talking off on the side, continuing and then stopping again. I want to be careful not to fault Sammy because she was doing her best despite being pissed and not wanting to do the private and Jen insisting that she had to. Long story short I said that we could take a break and she could work it out. The break turned out to be her going and disappearing to do whatever happened in the private.
I'd say a very disappointing way to end my visit. Overall I think it's one of the better clubs in the area (although I've only been to Highlighter a long time ago and then Sugar 44 earlier in the night which I reviewed separately). Most importantly just know if you go to try and time your LD's so that the dancer is not getting pulled back on stage. Never seen a club do that before and as a policy sort of stinks for the patrons getting dances.
