I visited Dancers a couple of times on a recent trip to Indianapolis, once on Wednesday and once on Friday. Both times I arrived around 10:00pm and stayed well past midnight. The cover charge was only $7 on Wednesday and was $10 on Friday. I got there slightly later on Friday, so I don't know if the change was because I arrived after 10 or if it was because of the day.

Dancers is fairly large, and well laid out. When you enter there's a big wrap-around rectangular bar. Then off to the right is a large, high-ceilinged room with three separate round stages. There's seating along the walls as well as throughout the space. When I've been there, I've generally had no trouble finding a seat, and can usually find one that gives me a nice view of more than one stage. The furniture is in some cases getting a little worn, but is reasonably comfortable (and definitely better than the metal chairs at the Hip Hugger to the north, which was the previous Indy-area club I visited). It's one of the brighter lit clubs I've been to, which is nice if you're looking across the room at a performing dancer. It makes the feel less "clubby" or intimate, which might be a negative for some.

Service was good, with waitresses making rounds of the room. A bottle of water was $4.00. On Friday I got hungry and was inspired by food on some other tables to give the pizza a try. A cheese pizza was $9. It wasn't anything amazing, just a basic frozen pizza. But it came out hot and I've had way worse. I shared it with an appreciative dancer.
