The experience: Upon entry I was approached by male greeter "Zandra". Upon explaining I was a first-time visitor to this club and to Toronto in general, he showed me to a table and explained their system: there is a trihedral drinks menu with LED lighting, and when illuminated, the dancers stay away.

I was soon approached by "Ivy" (black, slim and busty, no tattoos, wearing a day-glo bikini and fishnet skirt) who disregarded the lit sign. I bought her a drink. During small talk she quickly sussed my type (gentleman, nerd, not a strip club regular, good at chatting but not flirting) and she tried to put me at ease as she snuggled up. She has danced in Miami, and agreed that many of those clubs are much too loud.
