Pretty Girls, Forgettable Experience

I was in the area for work and had never been to this club before so I thought I'd try it out. My expectations weren't high, but I had actually talked with one of the dancers in real life before and she was attractive so I thought maybe there were more like her here. The club opens at 9pm and I got there around 10:30. There weren't many cars in the parking lot and quite frankly, the area where you enter to pay looks like a bad hotel lobby from a horror movie. Cover charge was $12 but you have to be a member of the club first, so I had to fill out a form. You can put pretty much anything down as the guy didn't even look at the form. He just put it on a stack under the desk. The club is also BYOB which I didn't know about ahead of time which is fine with me.

You walk in and the room is an open rectangular room with some small tables and chairs scattered around them and more chairs all over the place in rows. The far wall from the entrance has a small rectangular stage with 3 poles on it. The ceiling is low above the stage to the point where the dancers can touch the ceiling easily with their hands. That seemed to limit the dancers to just spinning around the poles during their dances. There is a bar/place to buy drinks on the side opposite the stage. They sold bottles of water, soda (I think) and some red bull mixed drinks (non-alcoholic). I bought a water for $3 which was fine, but the water was warm, as in grabbed off a shelf in the back warm. Not crazy about that.

The club is located in a military town and the few customers there were groups of young military kids. I say kids but they were mostly early 20s. Those that weren't military were Hispanic. Not a bad thing but the room was definitely split in half....one half was military, the other was Hispanic. One dancer I talked with said she does well with the Hispanic customers because she can speak Spanish fluently. There was another very small circular stage in the middle of the club that is probably only used on busy weekend nights.
