Not really worth it

I have been spoiled recently by visits to high mileage clubs (not in Chicago), so this place was a bit of a letdown.

I got here on a Wednesday night around 10pm. There were 4 or 5 dancers working, and maybe that many customers - so it was pretty slow. It costs $34 just to get in the door - $25 admission plus a $3 tax and a mandatory $6 drink. The security and other staff were friendly enough and of course tried to upsell me on the VIP area, which is just seating a few feet above the main level but further away from the stage. I said "no thanks" and took a seat by the front.

The main stage area is large and pretty nice, but there's no pole on the main stage, so the ladies do their best to improvise. (There are poles on two small side stages for when it gets busy.) There also seems to be a rule that one dancer must be on stage at all times, which meant that there was a constant cycle of the 4 or 5 dancers that were working that night, since the few customers there were passing on private room visits. It was kind of amusing and a little awkward watching the nonstop dancer roulette on such a slow night.
