the dry details... after walking across the border into the ped east Mexico customs building I showed them my passport card and they issue me a visa for a few days. I walk on down to the end of the walkway south of Mexico customs and there's a fucking long line waiting to get on the ruta busses for a 10 peso ride to centro. And there ain't no ruta buses there at their stop. So I say fuck it and walk by the taxis which like want to charge a lot more than five dollars maximum for a ride and make my way over to the garage by ped West and get a ride to hk in one of the lincoln town cars. i tip the driver a buck and walk up to the north lobby of cascada hotel to check into my reserved rhoom. I paid the $15 for my double room which is because it's on a Tuesday and I get an 80% discount because of my VIP card and also a $30 deposit for the drinks in the honor bar fridge. I also tipped the desk clerk one dollar for his excellent service. After he hands me the key i dropped all my things in the rhoom and made my way down to the curtains of heaven on earth... hk. after a very thorough patdown by security I made my way in past the black curtains and once again into one of my absolute favorite places to ever be.
