I had a chance to drop back in on an August Saturday fairly early, around 7 pm.

As one of the other reviewers mentioned, Phipps continues to be Phipps. It's a nude club that leaves little to the imagination. The tip rail is right up next to the tiny stage. The dancers circulate with the patrons between songs, often spending a significant amount of time at a table of patrons as they rotate through "private" dances. (I was alone at a table and the dancer who was talking with the guys at the next table bopped over for a moment, rubbed her rear against me, and let me know not to forget her when she was on stage.) There is a small, not at all private, area for one on one dances. The boss is usually standing in the corner, often scowling.

I was somewhat surprised that there were only a couple guys at the tip rail, especially since the dancer was providing a close-up gynecological lesson in muscular dexterity. Every other time I have been in the club you had to wait for someone to get up for a space at the edge of the stage.
