Boring and Overpriced

This past Saturday evening, I decided to check out the Brass Rail for the first time this summer.

Sadly, I cannot report any improvement, and in fact I would note the steady decline in dancer quality and atmosphere continues right along its recent trendline.

If a place wants to charge upwards of $10 for a beer, then it needs to bring something to the table for that exorbitant price. The domestic beers here are $10.75 per bottle. But the place had no dancers above a 7.5 that I could spot, the music was on at half-volume and the place was half-empty. Again, it bears mention that this was a Saturday night at 11:45pm in the middle of the summer on a day with perfect weather. But for those who don't live in Toronto, this city charges New York prices - but trust me it ain't New York. And this club has been getting lamer by the year.
