Minks is a fine REGULAR club, and it was FUCKING HOT!
I had never visited Babes, and this was my first visit to Minks.
Unlike the big glitzy Vegas clubs, Minks is a nice comfortable size, and has a fresh appearance. It looks like a modern strip club should with dim, but not stub your toe on that invisible chair darkness. As you enter, the main stage is in front of you an a little to the right. It's T shaped with a single pole up front and two in the back. To the left, along most of the wall is the bar, with stools for about 10. The stage has maybe 50 chairs surrounding it. Alone the entire left wall are large booth-like couches where the lap dances take place. The entrance to the restrooms and the VIP are side-by-side in the middle of the left wall. Almost a U-turn from the entrance was a closed off expansion for busier nights. The VIP is a hallway with about 8 curtained cubicles, each with a large loveseat and one end table. The curtain can be drawn so it is semi-transparent or entirely opaque. Size wise, I'd guess Minks is similar to the ground floor of the Palomino, and the room vibe is similar.
I arrived at about 8pm on a Tuesday, billed as Retro Night, 80's & 90's with 5$ wells and drafts. Stupid me forgot that last bit and paid 9$ for a bottle of Stella. The bartender was a cute, tiny, almost goth little thing wearing what appeared to be a shirt, a pair of Uggs and nothing else. Her bare ass was just peaking out from underneath the shirt, and I spent way to much time trying to see here complete bare ass. Later I discovered she was wearing a really high T-back.
