The Penthouse in Baltimore is noticeably higher quality then the alternative clubs that I've seen in the area but you're going to pay the difference. If you're looking for a quick bang in a dirty club go to the block. I'd rather throw $1's at hot ass strippers on stage and get a few private dances with a little two way contact and be on my way. This club is a much better fit for that.

I showed up on a Thursday around 1pm and stayed a few hours. The area surrounding the club is pretty sketchy but the inside does not reflect this. There's a jail and some resource offices for homeless fellows on the same block and across the street from the club. Driving up was confusing for me because it's all one-way streets and I managed to miss a turn my first time around.

PROTIP: If you're going NE on E Centre Street then the club will be on your left and their customer parking is across the street on your right. Parking is free before 7pm and then $5 after on weeknights at least.
