An off day service wise, but not bad

Stopped into Monroes last Friday afternoon after returning from an early flight into nearby PBI, it was maybe 4:30 or so. The parking lot as others have mentioned was pretty small and mostly coned off. There were a good number of cars there, maybe twice as many cars as people inside. But I managed to find a spot and wasn't charged to park. I was approached by a guy outside who wanded me down asked for ID. I saw he had a scanner in his hand, so I handed him a photo ID other than my drivers license to avoid the scanning. He was thrown for a bit of a loop, but didn't object. Inside, a cute girl told me she needed a buck. She did it in a cute way and earned herself a couple bucks for a tip. Through the second send of doors and I find myself in the midst of a bunch of guys trying to take pictures with the waitresses and floor guys. Very unlike this place, they didn't really apologize or make an effort to let me through. Maybe they were regulars or some sort of celebrities or something.

Anyway, I made my way to a table and sat down. I hadn't been in here in a while, they've modified the layout again. It's much more similar to how it was originally, and I like it much better. They seem to have found a balance of having VIP/reserved seating and tables/bar seats available for us regular ol folk. I sat for a while without a drink, again uncharacteristic of this place, but I suppose explained by the fact that the waitstaff was up front taking pictures. Eventually I got a beer, 3.25. Yeah, the .25 is annoying but I was surprised drinks were actually half price during happy hour, instead of the "Half price" that means a buck less. Even after the waitresses finished with pictures, service was poor. I ended up just going to sit at the bar eventually, as the waitresses weren't really paying me any mind despite there being 2 of them and only 2 other tables occupied.

For the dancers, there was maybe 6 when I arrived and another 2-4 came on the floor before I left. 1 very slim american girl, 2 black girls, and the rest latinas. They did the typical 3 songs on stage, most girls took their bottoms off but not all. There was a bit of modesty with bottoms off, not a lot of spreading it wide open for all to see. On the topic of modesty, they make all the girls wear gowns. I still find it silly, but they do it here. They did a 3-4-30 special, bringing all the girls on stage. All the latina girls came over and asked, but none were rude when I rejected them. Not that I have an issue with the Latinas, just these particular ones weren't my body type. The slim american girl came over and chatted me up, and we went back for the special. I was fooled by the gown, while she was slim and had a tight six pack and perky little (very little) boobs, her ass was soft and flabby. Anyway, we did our dances and she was okay. She basically just leaned into me sideways and grinded the whole time.
