Once Dependable, Now Expendable

I hadn't been to Wacko's much since JSO started raiding clubs. I've been frequenting Sinsation's more lately, but I decided to give the once-old-reliable a try.

Other than the corner booths in VIP, the club hasn't changed in terms of layout or appearance. The Cuban Brigade is still there in force, but what surprised me is the general decline of talent. The numbers are still there, but there are far more overweight, aging dancers then I remember on previous trips. What this has done is turn the hottest dancers into a rare commodity. The strange thing is, although I'd see a hot one go into or come out of VIP every now and then, most of the dancers that I was interested in seemed to be hanging out and chatting with guys rather than doing dances. Eventually, I ran out of patience and headed to Sinsation's and salvaged my evening.

The sad thing is, Wacko's has a lot going for it. They make a decent burger. The waitresses/bartender are generally hot and attentive. The club is decently sized and one can generally find a decent seat without too much trouble, except on the busiest of nights. Unfortunately, tonight it was like going to Disney World in the middle of summer: All the good rides were either under renovation or had 4 hour wait times, and the only thing open was "It's a Small World." (Or rather, "It's a Large, Overweight World")
