This was the second club I visited during my trip to NOLA, and it was a fair sight worse than the previous, Rick’s. Part of this may have had something to do with my time of visit, a weekday in the early afternoon; like the rest of Bourbon St., things mustn’t really start happening until the sun goes down. At least I didn’t have to pay a cover. The floorplan is very uninspired; a large open room with a stage in the center and bar adjacent to the wall closest separate the entry/exit doors. Actually, the building is (or could be) rather interesting, as it had a courtyard off the dance floor that you needed to cross to visit the restroom. Beers were expensive, but they were running a two for one deal (they opened both however). Typically, the bartender was the most attractive, and gave good conversation. Really into cosplay. Dancers were lackluster; the most promising was a slightly pudgy white woman in her late 20s that moonlighted as a social worker (and had a very detailed world map tattoo). More good conversation, but had no interest in even pushing for a dance. Eventually went over to read a novel. None of the other performers had better promise, so I shoved off.
