I visited The Den on the Wyoming-Colorado border on a Friday night from 23:45 until close. The club is off US 85 in the middle of nowhere. There was an $8 cover charge. There is no cover before 19:00. Sincweisers were $5. There are three stages. The main stage is backed by mirrors and about four feet off the ground, which means you have to stand up to tip. The two auxiliary stages are floor level pits surrounded by tip rails. All three stages have poles. Smoking is allowed inside the club. There is a vending machine in the back that sells cigarettes for $8 per pack. In my opinion the interior is packed too tight with tables and chairs. It made walking around difficult, especially at the choke point between the two auxiliary stages. The clientele was mostly groups of young guys and middle aged couples.

There were thirteen dancers working the Friday night shift. Some clocked out early around 01:00. Two stages were in use. Contact at the stage seems to be one way: the dancers can touch you, but you cannot feel them up stage side. Dancers strip down to topless most nights. On the first Saturday and third Tuesday of each month, the dancers go fully nude. On nude nights, the cover is slightly higher, $10 I think. Dancers are friendly, minus Nico. Regulars definitely get more attention than newbies. Most of the dancers come from cities within an hour or two like Fort Collins, Greeley, Laramie, and Denver.
