Smoky, byob, boring

I opened the door (despite sign to press button to be buzzed in), walked by the cash register (apparently there is no cover charge on this weeknight at 11 PM), and ordered a beer. The bartender told me that it is BYOB. Oh well. Yes, I saw the beer store across the street but I'm lazy. So I paid $3.50 for a small plastic cup of ice with a few mouthfuls of Coke occupying the void space between the ice.

There were 2 thin black dancers there, both under 30 years of age. One was performing on stage, the other was sitting at the bar and smoking. She was the ONLY person smoking and smelling up the whole place. Both dancers looked pretty attractive if you like thinner women.

The dancer on stage was gradually undressing, one item per song, and had some impressive stage and pole moves. There were 4 customers seated in chairs around the low stage, and while there was no contact, they had some pretty close views of her eventually-naked body. The lighting was not bright and it was kind of hard to see details from my stool at the bar since her skin was so dark.

I stayed for about 4 songs and the other dancer remained perched on her seat. She did not talk to any of the customers even though she had customers on both sides of her.

At some point, the bartender, who was on the wall-side of the bar area, away from everyone, cussed out what I assume was the arrival of a text message on her phone very loudly. Something about "people keep wanting stuff from me" as she later screamed to her startled and confused patrons. That's when I decided to leave.
