Returing to Ybor ... some good times.

It has been a few years since business took me to Tampa/Pinellas. My hotel was close to the TPA airport, and there are several clubs much closer. However, based on my past experience, I chose to go further east to Scarlett's at Ybor Strip. It's south of I-4, and feels like you are far away from civilization, but the travel will eventually be rewarded. (There are several pockets of businesses and gas stations to keep giving you hope.)

The club itself is in an OK location ----- it felt safe. Plenty of paved parking, and the lot was supervised by one of their staff. Cover this night was $10 (I forgot to see if they had an online or social coupon). Add a tip for the nice lady at the door ---- that can pay off at certain places.

No booze, but that wasn't an issue to me. The non-alcoholic drinks (including bottled water) were pricy. Lighting in the club was a bit dimmer than some other places, but it felt cozy. I arrived about 9:45.
