This was my first time at the Penthouse Club. I kinda, sorta knew how to get there, but got lost in the details, lol. My GPS app was working, but I didn't get to the right lane early enough and I watched as my turn went by, unable to get over. I drove about a mile and got onto the (one-way - wrong) street and my faithful GPS directed a left turn under the expressway, a drive of about a mile, and another left turn onto a street that put me right between Penthouse on the left and their large, fenced parking lot on the right. Parking was free at this time of the day (it was about 1:30 pm) and I parked, crossed the street and entered the club. No ID check or cover when I got there.

I sat down at the bar and ordered an Angry Orchard. Surprise #1: all drinks are 2-4-1 at this time of the day. Both had to be opened, but the darned attractive, scantily clad barmaid offered to store the second one in the cooler until I was ready for it. I don't remember the cost, but it was under $10 for the pair. I also asked for a menu and ordered buffalo wings and fries. They weren't the best I've ever had, but they were far from the worst.

PH has kind of an interesting bar arrangement. The stage is at the end of the bar and is a semicircle about 15 feet in diameter. A long staircase from the upper floor where I assume the dressing room is meets the stage in the middle. Two wings of the bar, one at each end of the semicircle, extend back towards the kitchen wall. A central island holds liquors. There are about seven stools down each side of the bar. My seat was number five in line, and, needless to say, my view was kind of limited while I was eating. The dancers would do a tip crawl after their set.
