Penthouse Has Lost Its Edge

I used to be a regular at Penthouse a couple of years ago, before the Detroit Police began to require the curtains come down and raid the place regularly. In the past, PHC was definitely the club to go to for the hottest dances, great wait staff, friendly bouncers, and good management. There were many 9s and 10s who would provide a very nice conversation on the main floor and then make the time upstairs in the back VIP areas very worthwhile and get you to keep returning. I was a mid-week regular for two or three years. There were many dancers who I enjoyed time with on a regular basis. IMHOP PHC was the best value with the best dancers with wide-open reasonably priced menus.

Unfortunately, all that has changed. I decided to take the time to visit on a Thursday afternoon around 2:00 P.M. - my previous go to time. I arrived at the time I had in the past. Valet parked for $8. I entered and sat at the downstairs bar as usual. I surveyed the place and saw that there were very few customers. I think that there were less than 10 customers in the place.

The dancers who were there were not up to the quality of the previous PHC hot dancers. In the past at this time, the place would have had a lot going on with at least 10-15 dancers and some days even more. My soft drink was higher priced in the past, but I expected that. Several dances came over to talk and we discussed the club, etc. Most all seemed to be very new and not previous dancers, but I didn't talk to all of them. I did speak to one rather hot brunette but did not partake in a VIP excursion with her. de for a total of six). Prior to departing at 4:00 P.M, I checked out the upstairs. The curtains are all gone and there was hardly anyone upstairs. In the past several regular hot dancers would just hang out at the upstairs bar, drink, smoke, converse, and do VIP dances.
