Lunch Special!

Once again I found my self in Dallas with a little time to kill before an afternoon flight, so decided to hit up The Lodge before heading out. The place has been described many times, and if you haven't been you are missing out on one of the strangest club experience ever. If you get turned on by taxidermy, this is your place. Even if you don't, this place could be for you.

The food at this place is crazy worth it during the day time - Thursday they have a steak and lobster special for $10. This is surprisingly good, and a much better deal than the airport food. The place has a pretty high end feel (if you ignore the dead animals), and all the girls wear gowns.

After lunch, I stuck around and got a few dances. Depending on where you are from the dances here are pretty decent, but they are given out in the open. So be prepared to get your dances on Thursday next to drawn butter and a slight shellfish smell. I have never never been there during the night, so I can't comment on that - but the day shift is always worth a stop when flying out.
