Not a cheap date.

Somewhat new to the area and still trying to feel things out. Sunday night I thought I would check out Deja Vu Seattle. I went to the Deja Vu by the Airport before it shut down and felt like my money went a long way. I did not have the same experience here.

Let's start from the beginning. It was about 10pm on a Sunday, with a good amount of street parking right by the club. I start looking around for rates when a guy on the street informs me the parking is free on Sundays. He also hands me a free cover voucher for Deja Vu - just where I was headed. There is a sex shop on the first floor and a set of stairs leading to the club. The voucher takes care of the cover but it's still $12 for the drink - at least it is bottomless unlike Kitten's.

The layout is nice - lounge chairs and a first row near the stage (also unlike Kitten's). Five girls on made for a quick stage rotation. One of the dancers confirmed this number. Only one caught my eye, Sienna, an attractive brunette. I threw some money at the stage and got a little extra attention. After her stage show she came and sat next to me. Good personality, good conversation - aiming for a nice night. Then came the rates...$40 for a basic top on dance, $50 allows touching and $60 for it to be topless. Okay...this is where Kitten's has the advantage as I usually get $30 topless, full contact dances there. Knowing that, I just couldn't see paying those rates. I nicely say maybe later and go back to watching the stage. Another girl Celeste, very fit black girl came by next. Very sweet girl who chatted with me for a good amount of time despite the fact that I declined on her dance offer. She quoted me the same rates, so it wasn't just a greedy dancer. After she left I decided to do the same.
