Wasted time
I spent most of my Saturday evening next door at Little Darlings, but I'd paid for the dual entry so around midnight I walked over to Deja Vu to take a look. There was a pat down to get in, but they didn't bother checking my id at all when I showed them the bracelet from paying cover before.
The decor her is much like the club next door, though the layout is different. There's a bar along the back wall with a little bit of seating. Then the main floor is a significant drop below, with a rectangular stage against the wall. There were plenty of seats available. I didn't buy any drinks, so I don't know if the prices are at all different from Little Darlings.
There were almost no dancers apparent. There was one on the stage, very heavy. Looking around the room I spotted two more dancers, one sitting with someone (also pretty heavy) and another walking between tables looking for a dance. She was older, and rail thin. There was nothing much to see on stage and I didn't expect to be staying long, so I said yes to a $20 dance. The couch dance area is in a separate room rather than a corner of the main floor as at Little Darlings. There's a set of high-walled benches with a small bit of privacy. The room also had some big circular benches that I guess could be used if they were busy, which would put you next to other patrons. The dance was aggressive, but not particularly hot. I didn't do any, so I don't know what the spaces are like, but a sign on the wall indicated their VIP dances are $25 more than those next door ($125 for 15 minutes, $200 for half an hour, $300 for an hour).
