I had a photoshoot in Minneapolis and my model was running late (what else is new) so I stopped at BJ's for a little under an hour about 2PM to kill some time.
It's just off I-94 and easy to get to, with a good sized but rather ill kept parking lot in back. Walking inside, I see a couple guys in biker colors and the rest of the crowd looked like blue collar types. There were 4 girls on duty, 2 slightly heavy brunettes, and 2 really fine blonds. The stage is set up so you can sit in a space maybe 4 feet wide between one side of the bar and the stage and is handy for getting a good view. The girls were doing $20.00 lap dances, but they were on chairs along the wall right in the bar, no walls, curtains or anything to block views. While the girls seemed to be giving good dances, there was no touching that I saw at all, the guys practically sat on their hands. I saw a board that listed 4 girls coming in at noon, 4 more at 3:00 and 4 more at 6:00 so the shifts all over lap somewhat. As I was leaving I saw a couple girls coming in from the parking lot that looked pretty good so I'd say they are somewhat careful about hiring decent looking dancers. My model mentioned she had worked there for a while herself.
Over all I'd say it's a place to sit and have a drink or two and watch attractive women get ALMOST naked, but I seriously doubt that much else is going to happen there.
